With a new MagMax-G motor that is nearly twice as large as the previous models, this power-assisted workhorse has a 170% boost in winding power over previous generations. The reel has 110lbs of maximum drag to tame the animals of the deep thanks to the addition of 9 big carbon drag washers. The Seaborg 1800MJ has a revolutionary remote operation that lets anglers operate the reel while handling additional lines or maneuvering their watercraft from a distance. When the motor is off, the reel can be manually retrieved with a low 2.3:1 gear ratio for maximum torque on heavy loads.
